Happy Saturday friends! I hope your 4th of July was amazing. Growing up in a military family always made this holiday extremely special. Grateful for the chance to live in such an exciting country and to be free to grow and worship!

Here were this past week’s adventures:
Day 8: Business plan- ever have a life dream that makes you so passionate that you wake up in the middle of the night with ideas? I don’t know if I have ever experienced this, but I woke up after sleeping for 20 minutes and my mind was going 500000000 miles an hour with passion, and excitement for this business to grow. I decided I should start writing if I wanted to get any sleep, so I did…. and then all of a sudden it was 4 am the next morning, when I was planning on waking up. I did some scripture studying and more ideas started flowing. I finally  got sleepy around 7 am and slept until noon. Get ready friends, cause this girl has dreams!
Day 9: Ride through the storm (read about that adventure in my previous post)
Day 10: Menu plan with MyPlate– sometimes life gets crazy, so menu planning actually saves me SOOOO much time and makes my schedule open up for more adventures during the week!
Day 11: Journal challenge– 7 days of journalling! Still working on this one, but I am loving the way it keeps my mind stimulated!
Day 12: Try a new recipe! I made an artichoke spinach Tuscan chicken recipe, and boy did it smell good! Unfortunately it didn’t look very appetizing and the taste was probably a 6/10, but thats whats fun about trying new things. You never know what you are going to get til you try, and then you have a chance to make it even better.
Day 13: Start learning a new skill: This year and next, I am committing to learning Spanish! I think its about time for that one….
Day 14: Family Time: Happy 4th of July! I was able to go running and go to a BBQ with my sweet cousin and her little family. Love spending time with them!
Day 15: Commit to continuous improvement
Day 16: Go beyond my records!

So I’ve got to tell you more details on those last two. Day 15- I committed to continuous improvement, and let me tell you, it lit my fire! When we have purpose and know why we are setting goals, its so much easier to commit! Whether that is for exercise, for nutrition, or for any other part of wellness. I have a few sections in my continuous improvement plan so I made a outline to print and fill out each month:

Then this morning, I put myself to the test with a practice sprint triathlon! I couldn’t believe how much easier it was then I thought it was going to be. The training, the nutrition, the hydration, the weather, and my mental strength were all on point today and I felt stronger than I have ever felt in my life! Also- in case anyone asks, this tri suit is my super suit, because I feel like a dang superhero facing my physical limitations through swimming, biking, and running! Plus pushing my limits, means I get to wear those neon compression socks and thats basically just having a constant massage on my legs! Win in all categories of my life.

Finding ways to light my fire more and more is so thrilling. I’m excited to spread the fire and see what everyone else is doing! Comment below on something you want to do (even if it seems ways out your reach). Now its time to start finding a way to do that something!
